:confused I had both front calipers rebuilt, new front brake hoses installed, and new OEM pads both front & rear. Also, the master cylinder is new. The system was thoroughly bleeded. My car still pulls to the left and the pedal is not "soft touch" like my other cars. When I start the car and move either forward or reverse, the ABS units emits a low growling sound, but I have been told it's normal. When I am at a very slow speed and hit the brakes, it does not stop immediately. The booster was checked and it was OK. Also, the mechanic checked the rotors & pads to ensure the rotors were not warped and that there was no oil or grease in the pads. How do you go about checking the ABS system? When starting the car the ABS light goes on about 1 or 2 seconds.:mad

the ABS sounds ok.... check your brake lines, they can start to expand under pressure as they get older, causing bad braking... also, Corvettes don't really have soft touch brakes, they are harder, and feel more like a race car
