I had to remove one 55-foot pine. You can see the ground-level stump in the photo you quoted. Soon, I'll be digging it out and beginning to install my grassy-paver driveway.
We planted twelve 6' tall cedars, that grow to 35', as replacement for the lost pine.
It sure is, Jane Ann. It sure is. Should have made the move years ago.

She's even happier on the country roads. I met up with a yellow '67 small-block convertible yesterday. We were both shocked to see another '67 'round these here parts.

The sun was shining....humidity down....so I played hookey for a couple hours today.
Drove the winding backroads to Hastings, ON for lunch. I decided to eat at a picnic table by the river. While I'm chowing down, a local dude walks by and says, "Your car? Has it got the L-88 in it?".
"Nah", says me. "It was too slow. I upgraded."
