- 1986 Coupe Silver Beige/Medium Brown Metallic
Just bought a '86 C4............Pictures NOW!
Hello, I'm new to the forum. I just bought a 1986 C4 with 5500 original miles on it. Its 2 tone metallic silver beige on top and metallic medium brown for the bottom half. My father bought the car new in '86 and has been a garage queen ever since with those miles and prefect condition. I'd like suggestions on where to start like wheels, tires.......I'd like 17's on it "not ZR1 wheels too many people already have them", exhaust what mufflers sound throaty any other suggections to bring this "bone" stock C4 up to date? I've already taken the Eckler ground effects and front fiberglass spoiler off. I plan on keeping every thing I take off of it for when I sell it down the road if I ever sell it. Also, like most I'm on a budget, not a bad one but still there is a limit. I'm just a "poor" professional Firefighter-Paramedic "public servant" so income is low. I'd like to spend no more than $2500 on tires and wheels, less is even better.
