Been a Corvette owner since '92. Previous Vettes include '79 White on Oyster and a '72 Mille Miglia red coupe w/ LS5 and 4 spd. Last weekend I traded my '72 for a 1996 LT4 Collector Edition coupe with Gray interior. She's been tweeked a little with ZZ9 cam, 52mm TB, Hooker ceramic coated shorty headers, Borla S/S catback system, and last but certainly not least....4.10 rear gears!! :upthumbs

I'm gonna miss the big block, but man is this LT4 fast!!!:J

Congratulations on the LT-4.

I hope you don't have any BB withdrawals.

The LT-4 is an exceptional engine though.

Your CE should be one hellofa ride!
Congrats.

Congratulations...

XXLBlock,

Congratulations on your Collectors Edition.
Your LS5 must have been a pavement pounder, now you have an updated Corvette to pound the pavement with!

Thanks! The '72 will always be one of my favorites. Can't wait to see what this LT4 will REALLY do!!:D

Good Luck.

Hi

I wanted a LT4, but my wife can drive a manual tranny. I'm eating out my heart right now.

Good luck with it, you should love it.

Also you should have it dyno'd because your engine could be pulling up to 385 ponnies without any add on's.

The LT4's ranged from 330-385 ponnies from a stock engine.

XXLbigblock,
I just bought mine a few weeks ago in Winston-Salem NC. A guy traded it in at a dealership and they only gave him $12, 500 for it.
Your car is very nice. I don't think you will miss your older BB vette after you drive this baby a while. Mine has the Z51, so you feel the bumps a bit but throw it into a banked turn and it doesn't lean a bit.
