BLUBYU said:Well, I got it yesterday !!! I flew up to Chicago yesterday morning and drove it back to Cincinnati .... watching my rearview mirror the whole time for that nasty snowstorm scheduled to hit Chicago yesterday afternoon. I made it home with time to spare. 4hrs 30min from west side of Chicago to Cincinnati ... not too bad.
I did get to experience the fuel guage issue where the guage goes to E all of a sudden. I stopped, filled the tank again and everything was fine. I guess I will take it to the dealer and get the sending units replaced since it should still be under warranty.
The thing is like being in an F14 ... light years away from my 95 LT1 6 speed I sold to get this one.

A deuce is good...any 700's this year?
I used to bowl and coached kids in it for 12 years.
Stopped bowling about five years ago.
Enjoy..

Rockatansky said:That OH plate website is great. Can you believe that here in socialist IL, you have to send in a postcard with 3 choices for vanity plates, and the High Minister of License Plate Choices will decide which, if any, of your requests are acceptable, and will return a verdict to you in 4 to 6 weeks. 4 to 6 weeks! After which, you can send your funds back to the aforementioned il duce and he will try to get your plates to you in another 4 to 6 weeks. Another example of the fine IL bureaucracy in "action." I wonder sometimes why I still live here...
BLUBYU said:Well, after several phone calls and countless hours surfing the web, I found my car .... it's a 2003 Electron Blue Z06 with black interior. The car is totally stock and has only 3500 miles on it. I may have paid a bit too much (37K), but a 3K mile Electron Z06 carries a premium price. I pick it up Friday and can't wait !!!!!
.... now I need to come up with a cool vanity license plate ....

ScatRat said:Congratulations Pat on your new purchase. I tried like h--- to buy an Electron Blue ZO6 in '03. They just weren't available. I also sold my '95 LT1 6-spd when I purchased my ZO6. Enyoy! You'll find it quite different than the '95.
