Looking to change stock exhaust on 1981, 4 speed w/no cat, does anyone have any feedback/info on KBD Targa Exhaust.

Exhaust is a personnal thing. For me the KBD worked out great. Nice rumble but nothing outrageous. As far as performance, well my wife's 82 is stock so not much in the way of increased performance. Installation was a snap and they look decent.

I used the KBD Targa mufflers for a short time before I went to sidepipes, I liked them and they had a nice sound to them. For the price you can't go wrong. I put them on when I had a mostly stock motor, it seemed to run a little better than with the stock exhaust.

I put em on my 85 along with a entire new exhaust,but since it isnt true duals it proably looses some of the sound,not a bad muffler system for $129 tho,& really cleaned up the look from the rear & sides.the chrome isnt the greatest so keep em waxed.
