I have the Info center out of my car working on a horn problem and thought of something else I would like to check while I'm in there. My key in ignition chime does not work. The headlights on does and all my door swithes (door ajar interior lights etc) are working OK also my horn stuck while I was away wife said it blew steady for a few min and then just quit. The fuse for the security system blew and I am sure this is what killed the horn I think the button was the culprit. I am sorry this got so long but I just wanted to see if I am on the right track with the horn and see if anyone had any suggestions on the key chime. Thanks in advance Charlie:w

The switch is located inside the column right under the key cylinder. They are not very sturdy and if someone has worked on the lock in the past, it may be broken. It is easy to replace, but you will need two special tools (cheap at Auto Zone) to pull the wheel and remove the steering lock. The wheel is removed, then the lock and then the turn signal switch. From that point, you can see the key cylinder and the switch. I personally think I would just live without it unless I started locking my keys in the car a lot.

NOTE: If anyone is reading this and plans to try it, if you have a drivers air bag, pull the fuse first! Not doing so leads to an ugly suprise. :eek
