40th Anniversary Keyfob for 1993 40th?

did the 1993 40th come with a keyfob remote.. The alarm went off today and i didnt even know it had it. Luckily the key shut it off... if it is suppose to have one and i dont have it, can i get one from chevy???

I have read that it did and I can get one off ebay, But i heard somone mention that if I put the key in the ignition and open the door, If i dont hear a ding ding ding, then I have more problems? Can anyone confirm or lend a helping hand on this?

Passive Keyless Entry - PKE

The 93 came with Passive Keyless Entry and these have a key fob with buttons to unlock the door and hatch.
I don't know about the problems indicated by not having the warning chime come on when the door is open with the key in the ignition.
