L99/LT1 sequential-port fuel injection

The `94 Caprice i have gotton has a 4.3L L99 in it, or is supposto given that year and the engine size listed under the hood. this is supposto be just a under-bored, under-stroked version of the LT1, and has something called sequential-port fuel injection that it uses, it looks like it should be able to bolt up to a L81, but im not sure about the distributer, cause the L99's sticks out the front, will i have to modify the intake, or is there a good aftermarket one out there?
any idea if the heads on the L99/LT1 would be a performance bump on the L81?
anyone ever tinkered with this instead of normal TPI?

nm on the heads, found out they cant be used, somethin about reverse cooling, will vortec heads help with anything other than power, i need a little somethin to help rationalize getting them, like mileage or somethin...
