Okay first let me clarify the situations. It is around 50 degrees or so, and the roads are thus cold to so I was getting some wheel spin, and I did see some drizzle in some spots on the windshield.

First run I flashed the converter at about 1800 and let er rip, got a deacent amount of wheel spin off the line, and turned 0-60 in 5.51 secs, and 1/4 mile in 14.19 @ 101.6MPH.

Second run I flashed the converter at 1500, still got a lot of wheel spin, and turned 0-60 in 5.51 secs again, and quarter mile at 14.09 @ 102.2 MPH.

Third run, flashed the converter at around 1200, still wheel spin, and turned 0-60 in 5.46 secs, and quarter mile in 14.06 @ 101.7, this run and the last one I manually shifted, and this one I forgot to upshift from 2-3 until about 5400 RPM's :duh.

Last run, and the best one. I flashed the converter at 1000. The tires still chirped and I turned 0-60 in 5.39 secs and quarter mile in 13.94 @ 102.1.

This was all done on street tire pressure of 35 lbs. and I didn't warm up the tires. I kind of wanted to see what it would run under street conditions. This was also done on a full tank of gas, I don't know why I filled up then decided to run the car... I will eventually take it to the track, either when school gets out or I can get some time off of work. Any thoughts fellas?

Respectable, what's your complaint? ;) Others will disagree, but I say always shift manually when you want your best run.

No complaints from me. I would love to get 3.33's with a D44, and some bigger tires, but for now I am happy from an 18 year old car. I found that shifting manually did give me a better time. Maybe this weekend I will lower the tire pressure and see what I can get it to.

I hope you're doing this somewhere safe. I'd like to know what my 0-60 time is. I guess things are starting to shake out for ya Justin :beer

Yeah, I am not the most experienced driver, but I don't drive like an idiot, and I didn't run it like that in traffic, that is for sure. I am glad I did it but robably won't do it again for a while. I know it is a 13 second car, and that is enough for me. I hate driving my car that hard, but it was worth it.

The Gtech is a wonderful thing to have. It is not the most accurate thing to have for HP, but it is close. It is ver nice to have for 1/4 and what not, and now the new one even shows torque and I think 1/8th mile and more goodies.

Much faster than mine was stock, but you got a long ways to go to catch up to Mic :L

Well when you want to buy the new GTECH you can sell me your old one cheapo ;)

Mic did say that I'll need more than an LT4. Of course, by the time I'm done with it, it'll be much more than LT4.:D

As for you, Moon, I may have to avoid you until I've fully scoped you out.:L Maybe I'll have to let the air out of your tires when you're asleep. Then I'll drive by your house and do some burnouts and challenge you.:L:L:L By forfeit, I win!:L

Old Vetters never die; they just disappear in smoke.:eyerole
Moon our 383s keep us young. I will be 57 in July going on 17.:D The only difference that the last 40 years has made is that now I can afford the rubber that I leave behind.:lou
Every time I blast a piece of Euro-crap off of the road my wife calls me Juvenile and Hormonal…at my age that is quite a complement.:w

Throw on some slicks or drag radials and you will be DEEP in the 13's!I am glad your happy with your car man!:lou :_rock

After everything that has happened, I am glad he has something to be proud of. Now when I line up next to him he might think differently :D. Neither of us can complain, we both have pretty nice cars.

Yeah I have a set of 88 or 89 Corvette rims that I am in the process of polishing and I will eventually get 275's all the way around or 285's in the back and 275's in the front. I am undecided to save money for tires, or just a D44 with some 3.33's in it.

Hey, I wanted to go last night but someone chickened out... You guys should hear him dog my car, yesterday he called, and said "Well what kind of doggish numbers did your car put up?" So I am ready, I just don't think he is, oh well, and this weekend I will be doing a few fine tweaks, TB bypass and descreen the MAF.

bring your wallet :L

when you get that thing and need a cam let me know i'll hook you up :D

BTW when i was running 101-102 mph at the track dead hooking on my good years i was running 13.30's.

no need for a sticky tire with 2.59 gears and stock 1600 stall. it don't turn enough torque from 1600-2600 rpm to break them loose if your stockers are warmed up alittle with about 20 psi in them.

when you get into the 12's on that same stock D36 and 1600 stall then you *Might* need a DR but until then have fun :D
