Its been raining like crazy here the past few days, and when driving home the other day, i noticed the driver side door sill carpeting, as well as the bottom of the door carpet, along with the carpet under the drivers seat. My dad thinks that its leaking along the A-pilar, and its seeping thru the carpet, and its acting similar to a wick, and flowing down the door, and along the sill, and then down into the cabin. But, only those 3 area's were wet, and the inner door motors/electronics along with everything else functions fine.

Anyone had or heard of a similar problem? Ive heard the seals tend to suck later in the vehicles life, and its a 91. Needing some other opinions. Could be the weather stripping along the door, or it could be an even more simple solution.

I'd do a quick check of the the weather stripping along the entire door. It could be rotting away. Check the inside door jam stripping also.....it could be coming in there and running down the side.

When i get the time, i'll try and jack the car up and check. My dad was getting my truck fixed today, and priced some new trim, w/ install on both doors it'll be like 250. Which is rather high, imo, but it beats payin for new electronics, if thats the alternative. Thanks for the views, tomorrow after school, i'll check 'em out.
