Apsis splash guards installed !

I bought a new set of the Apsis splash guards, they aren't cheap, but they are a good buy if your going to keep your Corvette. I have a 2003 50th. Anniversary Coupe and I had them painted the same color "Anniversary red" Once they had dried for a week the owner of the body shop, (He is a friend of mine) we installed them. Took a couple hours, but the finished product is very nice !
I also used a 3M product #05911 Rocker panel stone protector and that is a clear coating that keeps things like stones and other minor road debris from chipping the paint. You have to mask off only the portion of the guard right in back of the wheel and spray on the 05911 and let it flash, about a minute, then give it a second coat and immediately remove the masking and let dry, about an hour and your good to go. The 3M product dries to a semi wrinkle surface but is the came color as the cars paint as it is clear. Then today I had the whole car detailed in a carnuba wax. Looks could have knocked me out. :w
