Question: Location turn signal flasher 1985

I've checked my manual but can't find the location of the turn signal flasher...I have my suspisions about its location but would appreciate a point in the right direction.

Behind the inst. panel---center area---close to the horn relay/seat belt chime relay and the hazard flasher.
