Hi Ya John. Sorry we didn't get to meet up yesterday. I did Tatton on Saturday so I could do the Nats on Sunday. The Guy with the ZR1 is my mate. He nearly sold it at Tatton on Sat. I may do Notts myself next weekend, I'll see how things go. We'll meet up sooner or later..Paul

I think your problem has been overcomplicated by some of the forum members. The baffled valve covers should do the trick. Your oil pump, and compression arent the cause of the leaky valve cover breathers. And whoever thinks that 80psi is too much should reconsider. My 76 reads 80 psi.I have a 98 transam also and it reads 80psi of oil pressure. I have a 98 firebird-v6 that reads 60 psi. Dont over complicate your leaky valve breather. I have rebuilt many engines and seen the same problem with many that put aftermarket valve covers without baffled breathers. Dont sweat your compression or the oil pump.

:beer 400hp_76. I must admit, I was worried a little when everyone was replying. Thanks again, VettePaul.
