Planning my early July vacation and looking for some input. Here is the basic plan. Rosie and I have two weeks, will be driving the Corvette.

Leaving KC Sunday July 5 headed for Central Michigan to visit Scottsredvette and Claudia.

Figuring 2 days to get there. Probably stopping in Auburn Indiana at the Auburn/Cord/Dusenburg Museum. Spending a couple days with Scott/Claudia in Michigan (around Grand Rapids)

From there, we are headed toward Niagara Falls, via Canada. From Niagara we will be headed around the east side of Lake Erie back around toward Cleveland(?) and headed back toward Kansas.

With the projected path, what is there to see and do along the way....Car museums, Scenic drives, interesting points of interest, tours, Corvette related items....etc? Help us make our trip an enjoyable one.

Thank you Chicago for the suggestions. I'm thinking that I'm by-passing the Chicago area this time around, but I'll look at those suggestions and decide as too whether we can work those in.

Keep those ideas and suggestions coming.

That's cool.

That's my late August or September trip from Pensacola, Fl. to visit Mom.

The Studebaker museum in South Bend is great.

The Oldsmobile / REO museum in Lansing is small but nice. Big Bear Dunes in Western MI is cool. You can take a dune buggy ride and see sand dunes swallowing up trees and houses.
