Check the trim tag. After the word Chevrolet there should be a letter and one or two numbers. This is the body build date. The car would have come off the assembly line about one to two days later. The letter is the month with A equaling the first month of production and the number is the day of the month. 8766 would have been early Dec 72. Nov production ended with 8696. So the build date of the trim tag would be something like E06 with E for Dec and 06 for the sixth of the month.Michel73 said:Mine is 8766. What date is this and how do tell???
