I didn't have time to peruse in detail what everyone said, but I have experienced a problem where I have had pinholes in the upper portion of the radiator - not enough to blow steam, not enough to make the car overheat, but overtime, due to the chemical nature of water, I would simply need to add more because the vapor would escape through the pinholes. In this case, you won't notice any water leaking - it will appear that the water is just disappearing........
Some radiator seal works great on these pinholes. I would try a tube of that stuff and see if it fixes your problem.
