Help! loud interior noise

My 2008 C6 develops a loud buzzing interior noise at speeds over 70mph. Not a vibration, seems to be coming from center of dash. this vehicle has removable hardtop. Any ideas?

Is it a manual transmission? If so, check the bushing in the shifter.
