Wondering if anyone know where the fuse or the componet that controls the tire pressure waring system is so i can diconnect it if possible i have the warning light on and i no longer have the sensors in the tires for the system to be useable

Tire sensor fuse

On my 93 ZR-1 it is the cruise control fuse. I removed it it 5 years ago when I put on custom wheels without the sensors. No problems and I didn't ues cruise anyhow. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the ideal i dont use the cruise control anyway

You can still purchase the tire sensors from some of the CAS members, used. Chevy does not stock the front sensors, and the rear ones are about $350 each. Each wheel has a specific sensor, and GM changed the sensors in 1993, so pre 93 sensors will not work in 1993-96 corvettes. I have seen posts that one can remove the bulb from the DIC without pulling the cruise control fuse. From all of the posts I have read, there is no way to disable the TPS system alone. Personally, I like the system since it does not require a battery in the C4 sensors. But it is annoying to have the light come on when something goes wrong and you can't find the replacement sensor and counterbalanced strap. And, it is an expensive fix.

You can remove the light bulb from the info center and still keep the cruise.

Hey...if you're going to pull the cruise fuse to kill the LTPWS, might as well take out the cruse control module and give it to me for a spare.
