I just got my Lingenfelter mini tubs and Kenisis wheels and wanted to lower my car. so bought the lowering bolts for the rear and unscrewed the front adjusters all of the way up. I'll tell you this is not what it seems. I have had my car up and down on the jacks fifty times to teak it. First it's too low in the rear then not low enough in the front. Finally got it I think. Be prepared to put in some butt on the floor time to get it exactly right. I'll try to post some pics when I figure out exactly how to get them to show up here.

hello, lets see some pictures. i took out the front bolts, cut off the rubber, put bolts back in.back was easy.whole job took one hour.ride stayed about the same, maybe ahair rougher,my friend the Da Hawaiian Punch helped. he could not notice any differance in ride, it corners like a go-cart:) i have some pictures in my "new member thread.pictures please:s later Todd.

Your car looks a touch higher in the front than the rear. This is the situation I had too. I took the adjusters out of the front and cut them down also and they are backed all the way.

See if this works.

Here's another one.

hello, thats a sweet car you got there. i agree the front is atad higher.ive got the rubber trimmed off and bolts all the way up. i think in am going to take them out. my rear is lower than yours,i can put 1 finger between the tire and fender.in the front i can fit 1 finger, almost 2 fingers.i think when i change my oil next week, i will take the bolts out. i took that picture at dusk, its hard to see how low it really is.its low and i love it.i also like the rims on your car.i will be changing mine when i wear out my run crap tires.i like the mallet double spokes, but you never know.i domt care much for the new american racing wheels.have a good day.Todd.i think i have to make my signiture smaller:eyerole

I can get three of my small fingers in the rear, just barely, and two and a half in the front with no dragging of the front spoiler on the curb. There is a point wher you will be riding the bump stops and the car wont go lower I think.

Tell me what you think

How do these coil covers look?

Here's a better pic.

hello, not only do the covers look, the supercharger looks good to:bu is the intake carbon fiber?, or is it a cover? have you ever taken it to the track?later Todd.

HI there,
If I may, fender clearancing is not an accurate way to lower c5, as the fenders all flex, and no 2 sit on the car the same way.
What is needed is a special tool, to correctly inspect, and adjust trim heights via the balljoint to lower control arm pivot point.
In the diagram listed, we reference the frame rail to ground clearance.
You may find that you can get a more accurate measurement and tweak your ride height better. Remember that differences from left to right by 1/16 inch will create handling difficulties.
Allthebest, c4c5:hb

The intake is a cover and I think it's the best looking one made since it looks like the intake manifold itself.

hello, thanks for the tip C4/C5 spec, i will measure mine tomorrow when i can get it on flat ground.later Todd.
