Sooooooo I quess my lowly LS2 (did you ever hear of being sarcastic the LS3 guys think their s#$t don't stink) does need a P48

avacorvette, you 2007 LS2 should also take a PF48 according to the AC Delco website. The 2005 and 2006 LS2 requires a PF46 according to the AC Delco. So, you can stick your PF48 oil filter in the face of any LS3 owner.

07 convertible here, my manual says PF-48
