1220199 is the PN for the complete engine, not the bare block.

TY all. Know the engine #, even know the head #'s (in the GMPP parts book. Can't find the block # and neither could the Chevy dealer I use. Thought someone out there might know or know where to get it. thanx romeo

From the experience I gained on the purchase of my GMPP LS6 I'd say contact GMPP direct to see if it's even possible to purchase an LS9 block.
