LT4 Roller Rockers on a LT1

Well, I think that the RR on the LT4 mount using 10mm studs, and the mounting studs on the LT1 is 3/8" (difference between .393 and .375). Will they work? Probably, but you will have to get new locking nuts as the metric and standard threads aren't interchangeable or replace the 3/8 studs with 10mm.

Anyone know why LT4 Rockers wouldn't fit an LT1?

You can get a set of nice roller rockers for the LT1 that are more reasonable in terms of cost. I have a set of self aligning roller rockers on my Vette that cost under $200. They'll fit the LT1 as well.

The LT4 uses a locking torque type nut, as all you do it tighten the nut down to 18-20ft/lbs. So, All I did back in the day is change to the LT4 10mm studs, and bought the rocker arms (LT4 OEM made by crane/GM) with nuts etc and put them on. Torqued them down, and drove away. The LT4 also uses the 28 dollar, for a set, LT4 Hot Cam springs. Go Figure.
