Lug Nut Back-off

I'm having a bit of a problem! My lugnuts keep loosening. I have aluminum wheels, and want to know if this problem is normal. I have to check the lugnuts every few days just to be safe. Any suggestions? ;help

I am assuming you use a torque wrench when you tighten them.

If you have fairly new alloy wheels you will find this condition too.
A good rule of thumb is to re-torque the wheels after 200 miles.

Sassy_Silver_75; Lugnuts loosening isn't "normal". This may sound stupid, but are you sure you have the right lugnuts for the wheel application? Have run into this issue in the past where the incorrect lugnuts were used and they wouldn't stay tightened. Just a 2 cents worth response.
