MAF Sensor replacement

Here's a tip. NEVER use either to help start your vet when it's cold out. That's right, without thinking about the maf I gave a quick squirt in air breather. Long story short I am thinking about going with a Granatelli Motor Sports 350100 MAF sensor and was hoping for some thoughts on the issue. I have tried cheap MAF's and they just don't work on my 86. I have an OEM Bosch one now, but because of my stupidity both sensor wires broke. Any suggestions on whether to stay with OEM or Granatelli would be appreciated.

From personal experience, on the 86 I use to own, a stock MAF is the way to go. Even GOLEN Engines states to use nothing but an OEM MAF.

When mine died I bought one off a wrecked mid-80's 'F' body from a wrecking yard. Years later it's still working fine. I paid $50 and was able to install it right at the wrecking year to make sure it worked.
