This might be a dumb question, but if i took a normal vette the Callaway people could i have them turn it into a callaway vette?

And what about the ZR-1 Supernatural Aerobody or the ZR-1 Supernatural Twin Turbo? if they could make me one of them from a normal ZR-1 how much would it cost?

Thanks in advance!

Callaway no longer will do a B2K "direct conversion" - not since the mid 90's...

ZR1 Aerobody is currently not avail. - may be again in the future :)
C4 Aerobody IS avail though :beer

ZR1 TT - not sure if they will still do them - Barry's "almost" stock bodied TT ZR1 from Callaway was over 200k I think to construct and is currently for sale for about 140k - May be the best deal of this decade, so far :) - Car is located in NY and is Dark aqua/Gray leather
I am sure someone has to have pic's of the beast :beer )

So they dont do the turbo but still make the aero body frame?

They do the Supernatural Series, which is based upon a c4 chassis as was the B2k's... Aerobodies were optional. Minor frame mod's were done on the B2k's for turbo clearance, etc. but not so the bodywork would fit.
Hope this helps:beer

Are you considering a Callaway in the near future??????

C4 had:
B2k 87-91
SNAT 400, 425, 435, 450's (92-96)
SNAT 475, 490 (LT5 based) (90-95)
Speedster Series 1 & 2
bodywork options - Aerobodies, Le Mans, and a few variations of those themes ;) etc.

i wouldnt say near future, i still need a vette, but i was hopeing to get a ZR-1 in a year or 2, and then turn it into a ZR-1 Supernatural Aerobody or the ZR-1 Supernatural Twin Turbo when i get enough money saved up to do so, but 140k sounds like alot!

Now i dont know if i should go with a callaway or a normal ZR-1. i guess i will check out the model center and compare.

Thanks for all the info :)

woah, it went for just 27.5 grand! ive seen normal ZR-1s go for more than that!

so it might be possible in the future for callaway to make one like those out of a ZR-1? what is the chance of them doing that again?

You could always have a twin turbo system fabricated onto a ZR-1. Figure at least $50k to do so however.
