manual to power brakes

How do you know where to drill the new bolt holes and new center hole in the firewall for the power booster. Where do you get the new shaft from the brake pedal to the power booster.

I wish I could help, I just had that done on my '69. But I can't tell you how cuz I didn't do it!

Great upgrade though, power brakes and some hawk pads and the car is now able to handle a bit of extra horsepower. What a difference, you won't be disappointed.

I'll be at the shop in the AM, I'll ask the guy that did the work if he's in that early.

My advice would be to get the assembly instruction manual (AIM) for your year, then check the options section. There may be a diagram for the required hole drilling for the brake booster. The part numbers for the clevis and rod will also be listed unless they are part of the booster. You will also need a vacuum fitting at the base of the carburetor to connect the booster. It's probably there now and plugged. Metal line, hose, filter, etc.
:)
