What is vent window to door screw #161739 ??? in assembly manual?
Still need help identifying the screw (Assembly Manual Section 13, last item, Screw # 161739).
Can someone shed some light on what exactly is supposed to be cradle/support the vent window rear end to door (fixed nut)...Long Island Corvette diagram shows the 'screw' but their part is not correct.
====================================
Hope you can help me--am re-installing my 1964 vent window assembly after I rebuilt it and discovered that the "screw and washer set for roadster vent window to door" were not there (both doors have a piece of dumdum putty in the holes where bolt supposed to be!).
Location of the missing screw/bolt is at the top of the door just below and rear of the vent window assembly
Right now, I would just like to just get it bolted together and back on the road...need to know what I can buy at local hardware store...
Can someone share a description of the bolt/screw as well as the washer...thread, length, size, etc. Feels like a 12-24 thread but not sure.
Many thanks in-advance!
Mike
