Thats BS. The guy is ripping you off, they are nearly a direct fit. The only modificarions that may be necessary is that your original exhaust may not be the 2 1/2 inlet. Easily acomplished by a good muffler shop with a pipe bender. He`s mad because he didn`t sell you one of his cheap lifetime muffler setups that makes his exhaust systems price sound good to a customer where his profit is probably over 75-80 %. Just because you have a Vette he`s actually charging you a $130.00 for less than an hours work.lbitp37 said:Ok My mufflers are on order.

My local shop says it will take 2 hours to install properly, at his rate that = $130.00.
Is that reasonable?
