My C6 Is IN!

ZIppy, glad you are having fun. I guess I was sorta right about the road trip!

Thanks for the cool pics and your thoughts on the C6 .....Up here in Canada some salespeople don't even know what the differences are from the C5...It's hilarious......Oh by the way congrats on the beautiful machine.

Wow Zippy 1300 miles already. It will be the first of the month before we get a chance to really put this car to a test with a cross country drive. Driving home from our monthly vette club meeting last night i could not get over how stunning the gauges look when they are iluminated. Pictures just do not do them justice. The colors are vivid and very crisp. Have you had anybody return a wave yet. I got the first one today but it was from a club member who has a C6 on order.

I am curious about what the dealers are selling these for. I saw a piece about the c6 on motorweek last night and they said the coupe msrp was about $6oo less than than last years model. I found that very surprising. They also said the ragtop msrp price was only $400 more than last year. Just curious.

I suspect if you want to see msrp you will probably have to wait a little while. Also right now I think most of these cars are coming out of the factory loaded up.

Hi. I got this message, though I believe it was meant for someone else.

Hey Zippy,

Congrats on the new ride :cool I just wanted your thoughts on the performance and ride quality compared to your Z06.

Brett: I noticed your from Fenton. We just moved to Howell, and the first free Sunday I get, I'll go to Baker's Cruise In in Milford.

Although the C6 is an automatic, it shifts lightning fast when I get on it. Hard to say if it feels fast than the Z06 because I really haven't had an opportunity to drive it very fast. When we drove to Ky I drove it easy because my wife does not like to go fast. I 've noticed that the Z06 revs quicker, but hard to say which car is quicker/faster, until I get a chance to drive it alone.

The C6 is defintely more comfortable to ride in, much quieter, smooth ride, and handles like ti was super glued to the road.

Hope to see you at Baker's soon.

Tony :) :)

Zippy, let me know when you can meet up. I'll show you my favorite cruising routes around the west side.

Oh, one other thing, Sexy Red is sporting a new makeover from when we met up at Duggans with the ZO6 gang.
