My Corvette Cave (Lots of Pics!)

Steven,
Great job. I think you will like the white paint above your beltline. Your posters and photos will contrast were nicely. Any display shelves planned for memoribilia? Where's the couch, recliner and TV? Great that your wife is participating! Keep the kids and cats out.

Wow man, you are doing a great job, every time i swing past this post i see better and better pics, Keep up the great work.

maybe i missed it but where is the kegorator or the fridge:beer
He didn't miss it, Bill. He's got a fridge with table and chair handily nearby. :cool He just chose a color that would blend in with the theme so as to be unnoticeable. :L

You did A LOT of work in a short time. Kudos! I know how overwhelming a large project can be. Not being negative but I find there is always room for improvement. Sometimes it takes an extra pair of eyes for the details. I have a few suggestions off the top of my head. For all I know you may have done these already since pics are a little older.

I'd put the fridge at an angle...it would look better and more easily accessable....you've still got plenty of room so you wont lose much if any floor space.
A pet peeve of mine is the white outlets on the grey wall. They sell em in a grey that would make em disappear :-)
I'd also switch out the brass door knob and use chrome or brushed aluminum.

I'd also consider painting the back of the garage door with Rustoleum's aluminum paint. It reflects light better than the white and looks cool too!

I've seen some big Vette decals on ebay that come up every now and then that would look cool too.

I just found a VERY COOL emblem at Corvette Central and thought immediately of your garage! Perfect colors and Its 44 inches!:D

Large%20GarageEmblem.jpg

Its part number
104606$134.95

Their site is weird and wont let me post direct link and sometimes their search by part number thing doesnt work. http://corvettecentral.com To find it you may have to go to "Search by Catagory"- "Garage works and tools" and scroll down.
