My INFLATE REST LIGHT won't go out 90 ZR1

1990 ZR1 this light is driving me nuts.. I was told by another buddie that it's because of a sensor located somewhere under the hood . He says it's a common
problem on 1990 ZR1's

Can someone elaborate? How to find it and fix it? ;help
