Merry Christmas All!

I just replaced my under hood, old ripped mesh grille, with some Stainless Steel ones......

Sorry I cant attach my picture for some reason....

but here is a link to were i got em.

www.c4dhr.com :w scroll down to the grill pictures.
What do you think?

:excited:

Yeah it was easy to put together....it took about 15 minutes to do.....but the instructions suggested the same type of adhesive that GM used.....my dealer was out of stock....so i used Goop. It worked quite well.

I let the goop dry over night and put the part back on the car.

I am happy with it.

Easy to install

Its a walk in the park to install!

Remove the left and right vents from the car, remove the old mesh screens, install the new ss grilles, let the adhesive dry and re-install it on to the car.

I used a polish to make my ss grilles really shine before i installed em.

Since i have the front grille and side grille on my car, i thought that this kit would finish it off nicely.

Now I can open the hood at the car show next summer. :beer

Merry Christmas All

I just wanted to share a pic of my new under hood ss grilles.

I replaced the wire mesh ones.

Hope this works....

They do look nice!!!!

You "hope they work" - not sure what that means. Did the mesh style not hold up, block too much air, not stay attached? Be interested to know on that.

Looks like they would reduce air flow - but I believe they say they don't.

Happy Holidays

Sorry all!!!! :)

When I posted,"I hope this works", I ment I hope I can post the pic.

I have tried to post pics in the past and they never worked.

The Grilles are very secure and look very nice.

Thanks

Merry Christmas

Nice, my mesh is on its way out. Maybe I'll try something like that.;)

What size holes in the screen ? 1/8 in ? I am hoping they are. We have that type of stainless at work. I could make them myself . :D

Merry Christmas :w
