After waiting about 7 weeks my American rims arrived.
Wife keeps hinting at the price but I just say "Horse shoing Money"
I have done extensive work to my rearend so I can get away with a 10 inch wide rim under the fender
This is 10 x 18 x 6.5 backspacing

This is looking down the side of the car, It actually sticks out less then my stock 8.5 inch rim with 5 inch backspacing

I have just enough clearance at the tightest part for my hand to just fit in
The tire actually starts where the clearance is increasing so I don't anticipate a problem.

Congrats Norval - - - they certainly look like they're worth the wait.

Probably gonna ride kinda hard til you get tires on `em, `eh ?
Seriously- they're gonna look GREAT !:beer

Thanks. I am waiting for the tires. I am running Pirelli PZero in 285 x 40 x 18 and 245 x 45 x 18 to get the outer diameter to what I have now.
The car is sitting on stands now carefully leveled so the cage can be fitting to a car sitting level.
I use a level just like woodworking and make everything level , vertically and horizontally. This is important, Level the car using the door sills front to back and side to side then use the level on all bars trying to make them level.
