Barry, I think any of us that have owned older Corvettes and worked on them have experienced your frustration It's not just Corvettes, I've helped a neighbor with a '57 Nomad this summer and we've affectionately named her the *B I T C H* she has fought tooth and nail with every aspect of restoration and modification... but it's worth it... I'd rather scrape my knuckles and get frustrated with a car than say ... a computer, relative or the Mrs.
Hang in there, it's what we call paying your dues and becoming seasoned
Barry
We all have those days, just be carful around threads and aluminum, if it doesn't go in by hand find out why before putting a wrench on it. Take th 78 out for a ride and relax. I have been chasing a code 43 on my YT prioject since day one and its giving me fits, when I get frustrated I walk away and work on something else.
Hey Bud my Son still has a 66 Chevelle wagon I named "Christine" because everytime I would work on someone elses car it woukld break down afterwords, like a jealous women.
