A plan to build a motorsports park for high-performance driving and testing is one step closer to reality.
Warren County Fiscal Court on Wednesday approved the first reading of an ordinance that would rezone about 405 acres of land near the National Corvette Museum to allow a motorsports park to be built.
If approved on second reading, the ordinance would rezone the property at Porter Pike and Grimes and McGinnis roads from agriculture to planned unit development.
