Need M-1131 driverside t-top

i was lucky enough to find a mint pair of M-1131 tops for my lo mile 1980 L-82, thanks to UPS they turned it into a broken pair of mint M-1131 topsotfl, my origional passenger side top is still good, so this time i am looking to repalce the one driverside top with a real clean top.. anyone got one? email me if you do. thanks, jamie

sure did have it insured for $1100, that was a month ago, still dont have my money from them, now they want proof of what they are worth, and they wanted to know why the glass cant be replaced, gotta love them, thats why im looking for another, need it before the weather breaks... jamie

Sounds just like what I went through with a complete computer I shipped via FedEx. 1.5 months later I finally had my check.

Check the fine-print on UPS's policies page (somewhere on their website). You should be able to simply provide them the prices from various Corvette vendors online.

The glass can be replaced...by them! It should be quite simple to explain to them that this is not just a piece of glass. It is a one-piece unit that is not available as separate pieces. And again, this would be clear by them looking at the pages on the various vendor sites.

I had to fax FedEx 10 pages of materials to show the value of the various parts. Hopefully, you can get UPS with jsut a page or two since it's only one piece.

I have the same tops for my 1981 Vette- my passanger is broken and drivers is good- same number - Can we work on a deal to buy mine or me to buy yours for a complete set- right know I have a after market 1 piece top thats okay. My email is emkesjw@hotmail.com if you are interested.
