Need measurement from convertible door rear to bottom of bow upright

Measuring at the top rear of my 72 convertible door to the bottom of the bow upright where the small square weatherstrip bolts I have only 3/8 inch which looks too tight to install the weatherstrip piece. I need to know what the gap measures on your convertible. The windows are adjusted up to the top and top bows are aligned with the window tops. Knowing what that gap should be would be a big help. Thanks
