Hey all!!! Well, my baby is awaiting new 18X10 Boyd Coddington Full Pollish wheels all around and so I have to start thinking about tires.

From what I can gather from tire sites, I cannot find a tired combo that matches the stock tire height of 27.4"...am I better off going taller or shorter? What are the pros/cons?

I had 255/60/15 and 275/60/15 BF Goodrich tires on there before, and I don't know, but I assumed the speedo was correct. I know I will have to replace the speedo gear to correct for tire height differences.

Any info is most appreciated....I can't wait to finally drive her again!

I have 275/40/18's on the rear of my 1970 and the advertised height is 26.7". This is a good size and fills the wheel well.

Cool...how is your speedo? Do you know how many tooth gear you had to put in?

Any other suggestions as far as +/- with regards to the height being tall or shorter than stock?

Thanks!

- Jeremy

My speedo hasn't worked since I installed the electronic T56 transmission. I plan on getting all new gauges when I redo the interior.
