Hey, I just got a new battery put in my 1992 Vette. Immediately the throttle started sticking at about 1500 rpm, when I drive down the road it sticks in place and however fast I'm going I continue to go that fast without my foot even on the pedal. I have to put my foot under the pedal and pull back to make it stop sticking. Anyone know how to fix this?

If the 92 is the same as an 88, the cruise control is in the area of the battery, the cables could have been pinched/disturbed during battery removal/installation. Just a thought...................

I'd agree. Maybe instead of removing the fender as they should they loosened the top bolts, loosened the Cruise and wedged the new battery in?

Awesome

Awesome, there was a connection undone so I reconnected it and fixed!!! Thanks for the help, it was near the battery, they took that box off I guess before realizing to take the fender off. And threw the box on top the cable which is what disconnected it, ridiculous.
