Hi All,
Rick here from southeastern PA. Picked up my first Corvette - an '82 Collectors Edition - late last week. 60K on the clock and not in too bad a shape. A couple electrical gremlins and some tlc needed here and there, but I'm a happy camper. Loved the Vette since seeing the '78 Pace Car edition go around Indy... finally got into a position where I can (almost) afford one of my poster cars from back in the day!

Thanks for the welcome, all! While not the most performance oriented cars in Chevy's lot back in the '80's, I think it was/is one of the prettiest color combinations there was. It's meant to be a cruiser and not much more and I'm fine with that. Already fixed the rear hatch issue (carefully heating and re-bending the hinges), and going through some odds and ends. Some wiring issues I'm going to defer to our local Corvette specialist shop, but all in all I think it's going to be a blast!
