I just wanted to introduce myself. I was turned on to this forum by Bob at Advanced Automotive. I purchased my first Vette about a month ago after owning 3 Z28's and a Porsche (don't ask me what I was thinking with the Porsche!). My Vette is a 96 LT1 Coupe in Torch Red, and so far I've put a Magnaflow Muffler system on it with more to come. Look forward to getting to know everyone and hopefully will be able to help in the future.

Good old Cape Coral.. My grandparents live there. I get down there once in a while from Tampa. We'll have to take the vettes for a cruise sometime. You hit Fort Myers beach at all?

Good Choice

I've owned the identical car for over 2 years. This website has been great for many reasons. Got a kick out of the Helms manual as I do as much as I can myself. Asked all the stupid questions and was treated well. Occasional spanking for bad facts.

You have done it now. Enjoy all the good things this car brings and rest easy about the problems we all encounter. Most of the owners of any generation still get that tingle when we turn the key....

Thanks for the warm welcome, 87Blackroxi, i dont cruise Ft Myers Beach much because the traffic is just too crazy. I'm thrilled to finally have my Vette, I've wanted one for 28 years and my wife was trying to convince me, when I was in the market for mine, that I should buy a 2002 SS Camaro. I stuck to my guns and got a Vette and have not regretted it. I will post pics soon (have to buy new batteries for the digital camera), and look forward to meeting some of you in the future.

Stick to those guns baby. My lady about died when I sold my jeep to get a vette. But I was firm about it. It still is taking her time to like the vette (I just got it this past novenber) and don't feel bad it took 28 years to get one, cause it took me 29!
