just bought '00 C5 coupe Monday: 10k miles:torch red/oak-magnesium wheels: attended "Vette Essentials" open house today in Rochester Hills, MI. Met a lot of great folks - Zak gave me ride in his yellow C5 with Corsa Indy pipes and Vortex breather - have been looking at breathers for the car -like this system. Like to look at Jet Performance Programmer: MSD sparker: new plug wires-car is auto: would like to be able to work the gears without burning up the trans: sway bars are in the works as well- like to keep good ride and it is great!! but would like to have better feel on these wonderful Michigan roads. Let me know what you'al think- am 58 but not in second childhood -- still working on first!!

Welcome Irish Whiskey!

I'm sure you'll find CACC to be full of friendly and helpful members! Come back often and tell us how you're doing with your new vette!

Congratulations on your Corvette. I am 51 myself and have enjoyed my car for two years now. Also, you have found the BEST Corvette web site on the net. Enjoy!

Congrats and welcome aboard :)

Me Too!

I too am a new C5 owner, just bought a 98 roadster in August. I've never been without a Corvette since 1969 and never thought I'd ever see a Corvette as great as the C5. I haven't driven my 64 roadster since I've had the 98. This site is a very good source of information and help.
