New leather seats

Getting my new (slightly used) grey leather seats for my 87 vert tomorrow. The existing cloth seats are electric; the new seats are out of a 90-91 and supposedly will bolt right in. I would like to get rid of the electrics to save weight, and I'm the only one that drives the old vette. I have an excellent upholstery guy and I'm confident he can handle the changeover.
Has anyone done this change before and knows for sure if they will bolt in on the electric frame rails. Doing new carpets on the doors too. I've had the car about 4 months and have made several cosmetic changes. Really need to go to later model wheels, and a few more interior changes...especially getting rid of the Bose junk.

Not sure what your question is, but what color are your 87 seats. I might be interested if you dedcide to sell them. I like cloth.

to get rid of the power seats, go on eBay theres alot of places selling manual seat tracks. take the power ones out and the manual ones in. done. you can do it yourself, alls you need is a tool set. i got a manual track for my drivers seat for $20 off eBay.
