2009 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, only 4998 miles, 3ZR package, 6-spd, 638 HP, SHOWROOM, museum quality condition and not a nicer one around. Looks/smells as new. Must see the quality of this car in person, its truly unbelievable. Very expensive Carbon fiber engine cover, rear diffuser and carbon rear spoiler. I have originals in box. Plastic still on driver/pass. floor & most items still in original plastic. Cyber Grey W/ Black and Grey two tone leather interior, Bose sound, power telescoping wheel, heated seats, mild to wild remote key fob exhaust switch, memory package, power seats, Bluetooth, every avail. option, NAV w/ CD, 3ZR package, Heads-up display, factory chrome wheels, way too much to list. There is NO curb rash on wheels, NO bumper rash on the front end. Been kept in a clean, pristine garage. NEVER wet, NEVER dirty, NEVER raced. Not for the faint of heart. Once you have owned one of these there is not much else to live for..lol. $118,520.00 sticker price plus a $40,000 market adjust in 2009 came to about a $158,000 ORIGINAL MSRP! All books, both remote keys, both remote mild to wild exhaust fobs, manuals, original window sticker, build sheet, privacy shade, parcel net, brake covers, original mats, original brochures, etc. Waxed and babied like no other. Iconic car that will be highly sought after & collectible. Realistic price of $63.9k. Please email (peiwei587@gmail.com) if interested. This car is truly unreal.

So this admittedly very nice car has depreciated around $90,000 over the last ten years. It only has less than 5,000 miles.
So, 500 miles per year at $9,000 per year.
$180 per mile!
If there's a lesson here, if you've got to just DRIVE IT!
A trailer queen is just a plain dumb "investment".

Thanks for your insight. I don't buy cars for investments. I buy them because I like them, especially red ones.IMG_5955.JPG
