Hi, Everyone.

Living in Colorado.

I am new to this forum and don't have a vette yet.

Currently in the process of gathering some information and have $8500 saved to possibly get a Corvette.

Don't know which year to get and honestly what I can afford with what I have saved.

I like the C3 looks.

Like the idea of having a 78 "Anniversary" model.

Any input would be great. I understand everyone has opinions on which vette is the best.

Thanks,

Steve :)

Hi Steve,

Welcome to the Corvette Action Center! We have a great group of folks here that will be able to help steer you in the right direction. :upthumbs

Welcome to the Forum Steve. :w

The 80 Corvette is a nice car and may cost less than the 78.

Good Luck in your search.

Welcome, Steve!

We've got a good contingent of CAC members in Colorado. Always nice to have another one!

Corvette History for sure!

I know a local guy that has one of these stashed away . . . . . . Nice piece of Corvette history for sure.

welcome to CAC!!!xx
enjoy!!

Welcome to CAC! :w We do have quite a contingent from Colorado. That 78 Pace car is one of the best looking Corvettes ever produced (IMO). I doubt you'll find one for $8500 though. You have a decent amount of money and there are lots of Corvettes in that price range, just look at a lot of different models to base your decision.

Not sure if I will find one for the money I have saved.

I'm patient.

Been saving since last year (2012) and I can continue to be patient.

Not going to jump on the 1st thing I see, doing research 1st.

Want to find the best one I can, needing nothing in excellent shape.

It might not even be a 1978, I just like the looks and the idea of being an "Anniversary Model"

Thanks for all the input and replies so far!!

Welcome!

Welcome to the CAC - I hope you guys will extend Wes Welker the same type of welcome you'll receive here - Brady's gotta be pissed. Peyton's gonna love having Wes in the slot!
Wtf were the PATS thinking??? What a tough little guy Wes is. I'm sure gonna miss him!

Good luck on the new Vette search, and as others have said that '78 Indy car is a beauty!

we

This web site is the best for learning and meeting new people who all share the honor of owning and driving the Only All American Sports Car, the one and only Corvette. But I also learned a lot looking at options and pricing on this web site too New Cars, Used Cars - Find Cars at AutoTrader.com maybe you've already looked here but this is the web site I looked at regually years ago when I bought mine and ended up buying it from an individual that listed it on autotrader.com Anyway good luck again and happy hunting, enjoy the journey :beer
