Greetings from the great white north…This year I broke down and purchased my dream car (at least my dream car in 1987) a red 1987 convertible, black top, grey interior, 42,000 miles. I joined CAC with the intention of catching a few corvette secrets. My first dilemma is the post traumatic stress that I’m feeling as I put my car away for the winter…we have already had some snow and I think I’ve pushed my luck already by still having it out.
My real question…the rear deck that hides the top is discoloured, almost cloudy like sun bleaching. Is that the clear coat or the paint? What causes this? Is it normal? And most important…what can be done to fix it? The rest of the car is in immaculate condition.
Thanks in advance for any assistance,
