Greetings all fellow L81,and all other Corvette owners.

Some of you may of seen a couple of my recent posts, and helped me out with some issues.
A special thanks goes out to Bud,for his warm welcome, and for resizing several of my pics to fit on the forum.

Let me state, that I am new to this great forum, having just bought my first
vette just last week, and I love it.

My L81 is a 1981 beige over bronze beauty with the rare 4 speed.

40k on the odometer,one owner,and glass tops.

Ive wanted a corvette (and I always had a preference for the C3 years)
since 1973 when I was just 16,and my first car then was a 1964 chevy impala SS.

Over the years, the Corvette went on the back burner, but I still had my toys. (Harley Davidson Motorcycles) and own a mint 02 Fatboy 95CI.

Finally now that I am pushing 50,sweettalked the wife into letting me buy my first vette.

Aside from that I am employed by a State agency. Will retire in 5 years at age 55. (from there anyway). and besides Harleys and now my "new" L81 I enjoy target shooting, and water gardening. Opps running out of room, Ken

Welcome to the 81 club , this site is the best , for everthing to do with 81 or any year vette for that matter, you have a nice two tone one, enjoy the retirement and spend the money thats' what you worked for all your life!!

Welcome

Welome to the CAC. I also put off buying a Vette for years and also had other muscle cars and differnt toys. This is the best toy so far!!!!! When something goes wrong I have at times lost sleep over it.... but with the group of people on this site and their knowledge you can usually catch up on your sleep the very next night. Enjoy

Thanks Joe,and Rick. Nice 73 Joe. A buddy of mine has a nice 73 last of the big block (454) .
The 73 C3 was was my first longing, back in 1973 at age 16. but I love my 81
also. The C3 vettes are arguably the nicest looking corvettes around. But so are the C2's.
Hell,they all are great. Ken

Welcome to the CAC!

Enjoy!

Sorry it took me so long to chime in. Welcome to the L81 registry and the CAC forums!

Welcome to the clan and you'll find some of the most helpful people here. You have a sweet ride and maybe you can join the gathering at Carlisle this August.
