Well today I went down to car color and bought all my paints for my 1977 corvette because a local Votech college is going to do free labor on my paint job. All items I bought were PPG and evercoat (for fiberglass filler and such) The paint is the 2003 GM Cadillac Escalade White pear paint. I was just wonderin what you guys will think this color will look like. I also bought a show car quality clear coat that takes 6 MONTHS garage kept to fully cure! Well thanks for lookin.

Be careful!Im not dising votech students ,I was one too. That color is hard for a pro to spray.Let me re phrase that,If anything goes wrong its extremely hard to fix.Pearls, candies and tri stage colors are complicated and hard to match. Also pearls are easy to mottle(streak).

Well the paint and all my fillers and paint mixing buckets tape primers and activators all that stuff they told me I needed was 594.00$ with our wholesale license and discounts at car color. (my dad ows a mechanic and tire & wheel shop). The guy at car color said that they could spray that paint ok becuase the last job they did like it was a chameleon on a 2003 impala. He said it looked great but the instructor had to do most the work.
