Nice find John!! I do agree with that one guy, I think the coupe looks better. They also appear to have fixed the rear end. It does not look like J Lo's anymore. I like the hood and the door handles. The black out pillars are good too. I am still undecided on the top though. I am not sure if I like that groove going down the center. I think the rims are nice too. They look like they are 18's on the back and 17's on the front just like the C5. The one shot of the hood and front wheel you can see how big the rotor is. It almost the size of the inside of the rim. That should make for some real stopping power. Also the picture of the vert. If you look through the back window you get a nice shot of the built in rise behind the head of the driver in the last photo. I wonder why the guy who took the picture has his mirror blacked out with mud. mmmm. Maybe he was a GM employee who knew where the cars were going to be and did that so his reflection would not show. So far I like it. I am still waiting for the ZO6 though.

Thanks for posting. It looks like the pics are finally starting to bleed out a little bit.

Thanks for sharing! Driving them on a public road means they don't mind people getting a few looks. It's also a good way to tease us a little and start the wave to the January premeire.

:_rock

I see XM radio (Finally!!)

the interior doesn't look that good though, although the photo isn't the best, and the car is only a pilot. I can definitly tell it is not a C5 interior though!

Hide the lines with white paint! Bastards!

I think those cats should wait till they take the masks off before they start makin hasty judgements.

"Looks like the C5" ??? :crazy He must have X-Ray vision.

I dont think it's gonna look like the C5... Exposed headlights... I like the sharpened edges too. The only thing I see that resembles a C5 are the doors.

Yeah... "it looks like the old Probe behind it" :( ??? WHAT?

Yuppy wierdo's in thier VW's... Whatever.

I was thinkin the same thing about the blacked out/muddy mirror... That does seem a bit odd.

By the way... What's wrong with J Lo's big round ass?

How do you see XM?

Is that an XM antenna on the read deck lid? Looks like it could be.

It looks like an xm antenna on the trunk lid. I hope they dont keep it there though. I do like how the hump over the rear tire extends into the back of the door, just above the door handle.

Chances are, it's a low profile antenna for in-car communication between the prototypes. AKA "CB-radio".

GM Powertrain Engineer, Jim Ingle, who used to do a lot of work setting up the test routes for past Corvette pilot cars, and is most known for mapping out the test route for the ZR-1 long lead press preview in 1989, used to rely on CBs/radios to keep all cars in contact with one another.

My guess is, that's what we're seeing here.

These are the same pics that were posted on CORVETTEFORUM.COM several days ago.
They are not the same pics posted a few days ago, because if they were, everyone over there in the related threads that are running right now, would be posting that it's a repost and that they have already seen the photos.

According to the source of those photos, they appeared last night on the web in the gallery of a Michigan Jeep Club which is why there is a muddy Jeep in one of the pictures.

And if they are the same pictures, why did the thread you just started earlier attempt to direct everyone over there to see the pictures because your "scanner" is broken?

Your playing games again, and play time is over.

Just an observation... I have noticed a little round screened hole on the side of the front camo (it shows up good on one of these shots). I think it is for the clearance light to be visual with the camo on to please the DOT. It is very close the location of the clearance light on the JUJUBEE rendering/photo. Further indication that JUJUBEE wasn't far off???:)

I hate the way they tease us - but I love it! The car looks like winner. I like the throw backs: the mid year-esque hatch line and the sharkish edges on the front fenders. Man, this is getting pretty exciting - who cares about Christmas, I need the new year! BTW, what's wrong with J Lo's butt? I'd put it in/on my car in a second!

great pics....thanks for sharing.I like the look so far but you have to admit they did a good job cammoing it.The hump on the fender is nice and the sloping nose looks promising. We need to see the final product to judge it.

Looks like the whole side is cammo'd! Jeeeeezz...what a freakin' tease!!

It could very well be a low profile CB antenna...

It sure looks like it could be XM though... They haven't upgraded from CB to the new 2 way mobile phones (or even the new long distance two way radios)? that seems more practical these days... back in the ZR1 days the technology wasn't available.... it seems a bit impractical to add CB to these cars, when there are portable devices that would do the job.

Another note... I don't see a regular antenna on that convertible either... I wonder if the antenna could be a two in one XM/FM antenna? This is just speculation, but fun to talk about:)

Notice the closeup of the hood. The far side of the trailing edge of the cammo black painted hood seems to be 6-7 inches from the point where the windshield meets the fender. You can actually see the fender mounting bolts. This fender / hood combination can not be final with this design. Perhaps the real hood is out at the carbon fiber fabrication unit??

Notice the cammo on the white tape on the side "scoops" on the vert pic. Looks like the scoop will go up to about an inch or two of the wheel well and follow the well's curve. There could be some design feature (strakes or something) in the scoop, but I doubt it.

The coupe still has the cammo on the B piller. Does it cover hatch glass up to the rear edge of the now-smoother- targa top? ...or does it cover the traditional body colored basket handle as seen in the C4 and C5? See the small strip of white at the top of the B piller? Is that uncovered body color, or white tape cammo on the cammo to drive us nuts?

I have to wonder how much that back window will distort the rear view ??
Too many tight curves.

What happened? Most of the pics are gone!!! I can only see the one with the gray Jeep in it. I want to see them all!!!!!!
It appears that they are being blocked by the originating site, probably because of the enormous bandwidth that they are losing due to being linked to all over the web.
